On March 28, a fish pond was filled with water in Poyang Lake, Jiangxi; weather: 7 degrees / light rain / cloudy
After the fish pond is released, many kinds of birds will come to catch small fish. The fish pond is a deep depression, half a meter deep at the silt one meter from the shore. It is very difficult for photographers to get a good shooting angle when shooting in such fish ponds. They have to put on a water jacket, stand in the mud, and build a shelter. It used to take at least half a day to complete these things.
On March 28, the temperature was 7 degrees with light rain. It is even more difficult to maintain such weather temperature in the mud.
Birds will see shelters in fish ponds, and people cannot stay still for a long time. After birds find them, they will not approach, and they may fly away and not be here.
Using the remote camera assistant, the above problems are completely solved:
Wear tall rain boots and bury the tripod in the silt on the shore, leaving the screws and platform out. Install the smart camera hand in the car, hold it down, and mount it on a tripod.
The battery is installed in a small plastic box, which is waterproof, rain-proof and mud-proof; after debugging the equipment on site, after the handle operates normally, return to the car.
15 minutes before and after.
Viewfinder screen: Equivalent to human eyes left in the camera viewfinder
Target search screen: observe the shooting scene with a wide angle, and can record video at the same time
Signal repeater: put in the car, open the window; rainproof
Leave the RCA 100 meters, 200 meters, 300 meters, 400 meters, and 500 meters to shoot.
Trial result: The anti-billed sandpiper uses the Remote camera assistant and the camera as stakes, and is not afraid at all, and turns around the device. The closest distance is only a few tens of centimeters.
Test the bird's response to the shutter sound. After a quick shutter release, the nearest snipe jumped straight up. After landing, he looked left and right, and continued to look down for food. Then another shuttle shutter, jumping up again in place. After pressing the shutter again, the bird ignored it.
